Online Trumpet Lessons:

Modern technology allows one on one trumpet instruction to be conducted via web cam conveniently in the privacy of your own home. Many trumpet players express that the feel "stuck" in they playing or hit a "plateau." Mark specializes in helping trumpet players overcome obstacles and roadblocks to achieve their goals. Together with the student, Mark customizes each lesson to meet the student's needs and to formulate an individualized lesson plan by:

• Analyzing student's breathing process
• Assessing the structure of the throat and air pathway
• Evaluating steadiness of air air compression
• Increasing upper register while using less pressure
• Developing a full sound in the upper register
• Refining your practice routine for maximum efficiency
• Increasing student's range and endurance
• Rebuilding and repairing embouchure (if necessary)
• Providing tools to decrease performance anxiety
• Teaching techniques to overcome road blocks
• Reframing self defeating thoughts
• Improving the breathing process (complete Yoga Breath)
• Provide career guidance in the changing music industry
• Troubleshooting student's performance related issues
• All lessons are confidential

Requirements for online webcam lessons:

• Video webcam, either built in the computer, or external webcam (available at Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart, etc.)
• High speed internet, Cable/broadband or DSL
• Computer with minimum 1Gz processor and 512 meg ram
• Mark uses a free down loadable program called AIM

Rates for online webcam lessons:

$40.00 per hour

$60.00 for 90 minutes

Payment in full is required in full after the video session begins and before the lesson starts. The first session/lesson will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled time to make sure a connection is established. If no internet connection can be made due to technical issues, then you will not be charged. You also have the option to have a phone session for the negotiated fee.

Mark only accepts students 18 years of age or older.

Mark's equipment:

Mark is trumpet artist for the Conn-Selmer Corporation and plays a LeBlanc T-357 .463 large bore trumpet. Mark's mouthpiece is Warburton 8SV mouthpiece with a 26 throat and a 7 backbore.
